POINTS OF INTEREST The Board wishes everyone a Happy Fall and looks forward to working with you through the rest of the year and keeping you informed of projects and improvements as they come about. 

Many homeowners have made comment about our website and not being informed about it.  The website was listed in the last Newsletter and again in this newsletter also on the Bulletin Board in the mailroom.  The website is available for anyone who has access to a computer.  Some links on the site are a discussion board, documentation, condo’s for rent/sale, contacting us, driving directions, and aerial view of the villas.  The website is: www.greenfairwayvillas.com. It is also posted in the mailroom.

                     POOL NEWS    

 

The pool has closed for the season.  We thank each and everyone who had the opportunity to use the pool this year.  We look forward to a new season next year.                   

                           VACANCY

We have regrettably accepted the resignation of Scott Riggs as a Trustee on the Fairway Villas Condo Board.  Anyone interested in filling the rest of his term, please contact John Vodopich at Fitzpatrick Realty at 1-800-615-3855 or one of the board members.  We wish Scott the best of luck in his endeavors. The Board has been talking about having a handyman around the complex.  One who can be on call and do little odds and ends for our community.  This is still in the talking stage but would help us in the event we have little projects as a whole community or as a homeowner, who has a small project, (example: new toilet, sink, minor plumbing at an additional charge to the homeowner).  It is also the policy of this board to solicit competitive bids from residents or associates of residents because we feel we will get a more sincere effort on the work done.  If interested please submit resume to the Board.

 

                     CATS & DOG REMINDER

Please as always, as a reminder, remember to clean up after your animals. We are trying to keep the grass growing and the grounds in good condition.  

Please be aware also of the Rules and Regulations in regards to animals in general.  Dogs are not to be tied up outside and left unattended.  Leaving the dog bags outside the door is also prohibited and leaves a horrible smell as one walks down the sidewalk. Please abide by them.

                 TRASH COLLECTION

Just a reminder that trash may be placed out at DUSK on Mondays and Thursdays nights or early on Tuesday and Friday mornings.  Please do not set your trash out on Sunday for Tuesday pickup.   Trash is to be kept inside or in garages until scheduled pickup. This does not mean it can be set on outside porches/patios.  This seems to be an on-going problem.  If this is not complied with, the Board will start setting fines for non-compliance.

                VEHICLE INFORMATION 

Please remember at all times to keep you garage door closed. 

We have had a problem with people breaking into cars.  Also, if you must keep your car parked outside, please make sure your doors are locked.  The garages doors are to remain closed to control theft and help keep the Unit D above warm. 

PROJECTS COMPLETED FOR 2006: ·        Power wash and staining of wood fence along Briarwood has been completed and adds to the appearance of the fence.

·        Additional lighting between buildings 2549 and 2555 has been completed.

·        Pool painting has been completed.

·        Retaining wall completed between 2549, 2551 and 2555. 

·        A new entranceway to the Villas has been completed.  This gives the front entrance a new look.

·        Completed roofs are 2531 and 2519 Royal County Down.

·        Several trees have been trimmed and some have been removed.

·        Emerald Garage will be adding cable releases to many of our garages so we have emergency access to crawlspaces for water shutoff.

          NOTE FROM THE BOARD

The Board Members are constantly working on making our Villa a beautiful and safe environment

for everyone.  Our pay for this job is is being able to see the difference and knowing that the homeowners are noticing.
